The MTI is working alongside North Warwickshire Borough Council, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Hinckley and Bosworth council to open its doors to help young people understand the growing opportunities across technology and engineering in a fast-changing world.
The TeenTech Innovation Day is a unique opportunity for Year 9 students to gain insight into world class organisations and the opportunities that lie within them. Students will have the opportunity to get hands on with the latest technology, take part in practical challenges with employers, apprentices and graduates and understand how they too could become the innovators of tomorrow.
There will be two separate sessions running on the day, the first session 9:00-11:45 and the second session 12:30-15:15 which will allow students and teachers to understand different career possibilities and entry points through exciting experiences and practical challenges. They will have the chance to develop creativity, teamwork, communication and conflict resolution skills while being guided by Industry Ambassadors throughout the day.
