As part of this programme, Apprentices will gain knowledge of light vehicles, develop good hand skills, communication skills and to use various tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Apprentices can progress to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Automotive Engineering.
Subjects covered include:
- Automotive related maths and science
- Health and safety
- Vehicle Electrics and Electronics
- Vehicle systems
- Engine principles and operation
- Engineering skills relating to the automotive sector.
