This course is a Level 7 programme and is designed to meet the needs of graduates and professionals who have already acquired expertise in their field of engineering and now wish to develop engineering project management skills to provide leadership and contribute to successful engineering project deliveries.

Course overview

Essentials of Engineering Project Management (EEPM) is an exciting and challenging programme of study where delegates are able to gain and develop project management skills that could enhance their employability. Essentials of Engineering Project Management (EEPM), with inputs from our industrial
partners, reflects functional and strategic perspectives on effective project management
needed to deliver successful engineering projects.
The ‘activity-led learning’ approach equips participants with a wide range of practical
skills, analytical tools and research capabilities to prepare them to manage projects
effectively within different operational settings.
Students benefit significantly from the industrial and strategic partnerships which provide
industrial project opportunities and industry visits. The strong tradition of business focused research is reflected in the important relationships developed with some of the
UK’s leading and well respected companies.
