    Entry requirements

    For candidates who require an overview into electromobility. Please note, as there is an overlap between the 1 day Electromobility Awareness Training and the 2 day General EV Architecture Awareness Training, candidates who are intending to go on the General EV Architecture Awareness Training, do not need to attend this course. This course is suitable for anyone who wished to expand their knowledge on xEVs, engineers, technicians, car mechanics etc. (note: previous automotive technical background would be advantageous, the course contains technical detail).

    Course overview

    The aim of this course is to provide an overview and awareness to typical hybrid and electric vehicle (xEV) architectures at a high-level. The course will provide an overview of a typical EV system architecture, followed by a dive into the relevant systems, subsystems, components and control systems within.

    • Identify different types of communication systems used in the automotive industry
